Hello, I’m Helen
I'm an experienced Interior Designer and Colour Consultant with over 25 years in the industry. My career has included roles with leading brands Laura Ashley, Solid Floor, and The Original Tile Company. Latterly, I spent four years as a colour consultant with Farrow & Ball, specialising in colour schemes for period homes across Scotland and Northern England.
Since moving to Sutherland five years ago, I’ve worked independently with private clients and estates throughout the Scottish Highlands. Recent projects include transforming several properties into holiday homes and the redesign of Dunrobin Castle’s beautiful gift shop.
Originally from Ayrshire, I lived in Edinburgh for three decades with a few magical years spent working in Sydney, Vancouver, and Alberta.
Now based by the sea in Golspie, I share my riverside garden with a lively family of wild ducks and enjoy a landscape on my doorstep that never fails to inspire.
